Dear Friend and Neighbor,
One of the things I miss from my childhood is the small town feel. I enjoyed being able to go outside and bike or walk to nearby stores. I loved being able to know the names of my neighbors and attend regular community events. These were the little, but big things that made growing up enjoyable and memorable. They made my community feel like home --one that I wanted to cherish and protect.
Currently, our city is headed the wrong direction with development. Large businesses need the right location to thrive and to encourage economic growth. They shouldn't be in the backyards of residents, worsen traffic and threaten wildlife. Small businesses, the kind that helps sustain neighborhoods, should have safer pedestrian and bike friendly access. Streets and bike paths still don't have modern and adequate protection for our residents. We can do better.
I invite you to join me in my effort to shape our neighborhoods and community into a safe, healthy, and sustainable environment. As your mayor, I'll bring our small town feel back, help our neighborhoods thrive, and promote healthy business environments.
Respectfully,
Brian Pastor
